The fastest SUP racing paddle – The Hydro SprintX SUP paddle is one of our more underground paddles receiving a lot less media attention than others in the collection, but since its initial launch, it has been quietly going about its business, building a cult following, and winning races. This is the paddle which propelled Seychelle Webster to victory at the 2023 ICF World Championships.

The latest version has undergone significant upgrades, including the integration of React+ Technology, which amplifies the blade’s power and acceleration. This is complemented by the new Tour Carbon double (round-oval-round) tapered shaft, further enhancing the paddle’s effectiveness. The Hydro SprintX is the ultimate SUP paddle for sprinting and short-distance races. Engineered for maximum acceleration and top speed, every detail is optimized for victory. Featuring a 7.5° blade angle and a wider, more compact blade outline, your first stroke ignites instant acceleration. A shallow power scoop and reduced blade volume ensures swift entry and exit, maintaining a rapid cadence for sprinting. Constructed with 30T pre-preg carbon, the Hydro SprintX is the pinnacle of speed and responsiveness. For serious SUP competitors, it’s a must-have in your paddle quiver.

POWER SCOOP TECHNOLOGY (PST)

The Hydro SprintX features a single shallow scoop design with dihedral shaped edges. This design is optimized for high cadence and high-power output, and it delivers forward thrust in a smooth and controlled manner. PST is designed to work in harmony with Advanced Flow Technology (AFT).

POWER Grip Handle

The PowerGrip has been optimized for maximum power, increased efficiency, and long-lasting comfort while paddling hard. Developed in collaboration with world champion Arthur Arutkin and Maui waterman Bernd Roediger, the wider and flatter back creates a secure feel that remains comfortable during longer races and workouts. Like all our handles, the PowerGrip is hollow to help eliminate any excess weight.

New TOUR Carbon Shaft

The all-new Tour Carbon shafts are a key component of the new Hydro SprintX that brings reduced weight, added power, responsiveness, grip, and comfort. The double tapered round-oval-round design increases stiffness in the lower shaft area for enhanced stability and power transfer to the blade. The more flexible and thinner round upper section helps to reduce fatigue. The oval-shaped middle-grip area provides a directional feel and a secure grip with a natural carbon-textured matte finish. Our lightest, most responsive shafts are built with 30T carbon.
