Each paddle is 100% functional and built with the same premium materials as our regular collection — but may include small cosmetic irregularities, slight graphic misprints, demo use, or a mix of model years (for example, a current-generation blade paired with a previous-generation shaft).

I never knew what a difference a paddle makes until I got my Black Project Hydro Flow x. I started with a paddle that came with my original isup and I was ok with it, and so I thought. I upgraded to a racing board and decided to upgrade my paddle too. Hydro Flow x is a game changer. It’s so light and very easy on my arms and shoulders. It’s light and smooth but very powerful, it just glides through the water. I highly recommend it! A very good investment if you love the sport! Also, kudos to Chris for an exemplary customer service!

I wanted to go faster and thought a narrower board would help. Decided to go a different route and change my paddle instead. Decided on the Hydro FlowX. Ohh wow! The paddle is insanely light and very easy to get a good catch. I feel that I can go faster with less effort. Very efficient paddle. Invest in a Hydro FlowX first before looking at a different board!!

I took the opportunity to upgrade my Lava to grab a Hydro FlowX special (theoretically it was a demo and/or has some visual flaw, although it looks brand spanking new). After a few paddles with the FlowX, I can’t say enough about how great it paddles. It feels substantially faster in the water than the Lava, and the catch just feels smoother and more anchored. My Lava has the same shaft as my FlowX, but I can feel the shaft bend more (in a good way) with the FlowX, I assume owing to the stiffness in the paddle area itself. I’m working my way up to racing, and can’t wait to continue paddling with the FlowX.
