    Quick shipping and well packaged, arrived in two days from Maui to San Diego.
    This is my first nice paddle, I’ve only used the adjustable aluminum plastic, cheap, paddles that come with a rental or included in package deals for boards.
    I have the large, I’m 6’4″ 195 lbs. It’s great for touring around Coronado bay on my 12’6″ Starboard and perfect for surfing Del Mar breaks on my Infinity Wide Aquatic. I’m surprised at how nimble the paddle feels while surfing but also stable and powerful only longer distance and hard pulls.
    If you’re on the fence with this one, buy with confidence. Honestly it’s the last one you’ll need.

  2. Perfect Upgrade for Recreational Paddling

    If you purchased a board that came with a paddle, do yourself a favor and upgrade to this one. It is so much lighter and stiffer than the stock paddle. This paddle is more enjoyable and fun to use than the stock metal/plastic/nylon paddles that most boards come with. I even use this paddle with my race board when traveling – the 3-piece paddle is very convenient.

    This is a great paddle for anyone who needs a travel paddle, or a paddle that breaks down in size for easier storage and transportation. Very high quality and nice and light. This was our second BP paddle, with the first being a Lava 3 piece. Both paddles are very light, but more importantly very well balanced. The joints are nice and solid, and the paddle is very well built. I recommend these to anyone looking for an upgrade from their stock paddle.

    My wife and I took out our new Ohana 3-piece travel paddles for the first time today and were delighted. The paddles are lighter than we dared hope for in a 3 piece travel paddle, especially in a very good price range. We were both on hybrid race/touring boards, and we surprised at how much these paddles increased our stroke cadence. We spent a few hours doing springs across a lake without soreness or fatigue. One thing that we really enjoyed was how much feedback the paddles would give with each stroke. These paddles reward good technique and give subtle feedback to correct technique errors. We are delighted with our choice of paddles to purchase
